Delhi Public School, Rudrapur celebrated Graduation Day
Delhi Public School, Rudrapur celebrated Graduation Day to acclaim the young enthusiastic learners of class Pre-Primary for their exemplary performance in the session 2018-19.
The occasion was graced by a galaxy of eminent personalities of the town. The Chief Guest of the day was Ms. Mansi Gulati, International Yoga Exponent and Chairperson of Manasvani Foundation. The Guests of Honour were Mr. Gaurav Gupta, renowned industralist, Mr. Mahesh Kushwaha, A.D.J and Mr.Manish Pandey. Mr. Yashpal and Dr. Rachna Arora along with her team of queens were the special guests. The ceremony was also attended by the parents of the students of Pre-Primary.
The celebration commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest and other dignitaries by our honourable Chairman Sir Shri Surjit Singh Grover and respected Principal Mr.Chetan Chauhan with pinning of badges. This was followed by lamp lighting ceremony and welcome song presented by tiny tots of Grade I. The gathering was then addressed by the Principal who highlighted the vision of the school and role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process.
The theme of the programme was really meaningful; Evolve… Pupa to Butterfly. A child also evolves in stages. He starts growing in the womb of his mother and then transforms into infant, young and adult.
The journey of a child was shown as the stages of the life of a butterfly. The graceful dancers of kindergarten gave a mesmerising performance on the theme through Egg Dance and left everyone spellbound.
The students of Prep gave a heart touching performance with their Caterpillar Dance that made the audience speechless.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and stressed on the importance of being patient and receptive with children.
After the speech, a Pledge to Save Environment was taken by everyone present there as it’s the dying necessity of surviving in today’s time.
Our budding kids of nursery made everyone stunned with their Pupa Dance and they rocked the floor.
The most important event of the day was the felicitation of young graduates wherein the delighted tiny tots of Pre-Primary dressed in Graduation robes and capes walked the stage. They were felicitated with certificates of graduation. A beautiful message was shared by Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms.Savita Sharma and the ceremony culminated with the Thank You song presented by the graduates.
Another heart stealing performance was the presentation of Butterfly Dance.
The programme ended with the blessings of our honourable Chairman Shri Surjit Singh Grover and presentation of mementos to our prestigious guests who spared their valuable time to grace the occasion.
The day ended with the vote of thanks by the Coordinator of Kindergarten and report card distribution.
It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones and their parents.
