New Delhi, 3rd May. Today Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Lok Sabha candidate of the BJP from New Delhi commenced her election campaign from Saraswati Garden and visited various locations including Ramesh Nagar, Humayupur Chowk, Laxmibai Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar-1 , Kalkaji and Amar Colony. She was welcomed by the BJP supporters and local residents by a wave of enthusiasm.
While Interacting with the residents Smt. Lekhi stated that her focus was always on the overall development of the area where she strived to improve the standard of living. In this respect, she also remarked that PM Modi was working with immense dedication and resolve to achieve the said purpose for the last five years.
Smt. Lekhi lambasted at AAP ruled Delhi Government for Neglecting the proposal for Revamp of the Infrastructural activities in DSIIDC Timber Market. She further informed an estimate of Rs 28 crores is to be allocated for the revamp but the Delhi Government is least bothered about the Traders and is neglecting the demand of traders for past few years.
Smt. Lekhi alleged that the AAP government was intentionally stalling the implementation of Ayushmann Bharat Yojna and depriving the people of Delhi of free healthcare services up to Rs 5 lacs. In fact, she observed that such dubious schemes would definitely come to light when the people of Delhi would come out to vote emphatically on May 12th where the BJP’s opponents would receive a befitting response.
