Councillors Depesh Singh and Rakesh Malhotra called on Director Urban Local bodies regarding pending developmental works.
Today Ex-Chairman Muncipal Commitee Akhnoor Depesh Singh and Councillor W. No 06 Akhnoor, Rakesh Malhotra held a meeting with director Urban local bodies Jammu in his office chamber in presence of JEE, AEE of PWD Department of Akhnoor and contractor who have allotted various works under linguishing schemes for town Akhnoor. DULBJ direct concerned PWD Department and contractors to complete the pending work in a time bound manner and immediately tender already identified works. Moreover , it is also requested to DULBJ that the directions issued by DULBJ regarding pending works shall be immediately be completed by concerned office of PWD Department. The members also requested Director sir to pay immediate attention towards bad conditions of Jia potta ghat which is in bad condition and also requested to release some funds for the beautification/ renovation of vicinity area.
In addition to this members also demanded that immediately the employees of engineering wing who are transferred to JMC must be returned to respective municipal committees and councils. All the developmental works are halted due to winding of engineering wing of Municipal Committee Akhnoor.
